I almost took a picture of what I look like everyday- maybe you'll get lucky later and get to see my favorite sweats and hair-do but for now we'll stick with the questions...
How far along: 25 Weeks
Total weight gain: 20 lbs (from before pregnancy...I lost and then gained...)
Maternity clothes: I am all about comfort this pregnancy- I think with Grant I was still willing to sacrifice a little comfort for cuteness- uh that is out the window with this one-I can't stand having anything slightly constricting- it has to be loose and feel sooo comfy to be worn more than 1/2 hour.
Stretch marks: Nada and I'm not diligent about putting the coconut oil on either- I just do it when I think of it, usually once or twice a week really.
Sleep: Will I ever really feel fully rested again? Just need to change my night time habits- I know that will solve a lot of these problems here.
Best moment of this week: I can see the baby moving beneath my skin and clothing- so cool.
Thankful for: Sweat pants. They are sooooo nice.
Movement: This one's a mover and a shaker. Well, slither-er? ha ha.
Food cravings: Bagels and cream cheese. Sometimes I just need me a bagel.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Spinach- but I did just find out that spinach has some properties that are kind of hard on your body, but if you lightly steam it, it makes the nutrients more easily digestible for your body- anyway so I've been doing spinach smoothies right? And now I'm trying to eat it cooked or put it in soups and omelets. I really like cooked spinach- it's so weird. Oh and kale! We made homemade pizza yesterday and put kale all over it- it was delicious.
Gender: Surprise! I don't know if I'll ever find out the gender again- it's too fun.
Belly button in or out: It's out now people- it's not that weird in/out anymore- it's just popping.
Wedding rings on or off: They were tight today....we might be almost getting there where I will put them on the necklace.
Exercise and preparation for birth: I did yoga once this week! Yay! But walking hasn't been happening as much because it's sooooo cold when I got outside with Grant, he likes picking a good 25 foot area to run around in so I stand there in the middle and watch him run back and forth. My next goal is to find an i-pod to listen to hypnobabies- I think I just need one this time because I could listen maybe while I put G to bed for nap or at night and that would just be the only time that's really going to work for practicing that.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy. So boring right? You want drama? Too bad.
Looking forward to: This week is going to be soooooo FUN!!! I am meeting with a few different doulas- and the coolest part? They are student doulas so they are cheaper/free. I am hopefully meeting with 2 different ones this week (one recommended by a friend and one recommended by a really awesome and highly esteemed doula). Anyway so I would of course love to have the knowledge and experience that comes with someone who has been a doula for a while but I think this could be a really good option because honestly I think they will help- just having someone there who's job is to help with the birth and believes in natural childbirth will help- so we'll see how it goes meeting these ladies. I can't wait.
